Active Vibration Isolation systems - MOD-1 plus systems

The MOD-1 plus systems were specially developed for high-resolution imaging applications like Atomic Force Microscopy, Scanning Near-Field Optical Microscopy and other Scanning Probe Microscopy applications.

Direct velocity feedback via electromagnetic transducers is used to provide isolation from building vibrations as well as vibration sources placed on the system itself. This means, for example that a sensitive microscope isolated by the system will remain at rest despite forces being applied via the operator's hands. MOD-1 plus systems compensate vibrations in all six degrees of freedom.

Active Vibration Isolation systems -Vario 45 and Vario 60

Vario system is a compact active vibration isolation system featuring two isolation elements and an external control unit.

The new external controller, VarioControl, is the core of the active vibration isolation system. Halcyonics’s active vibration isolation systems only needs to be load-adjusted before beginning operation. VarioControl units ensure automatic precision load adjustment of the isolation elements. The system features the convenience of “plug and operate” – once it is connected to power, all further set-up steps can be done by using the controller’s easy-to-navigate menu. VarioControl units offer two digital displays; one for menu navigation and a second to obtain additional information on current vibration levels. Vibration signals of sensors and actuators can be chosen and visualized as graphical bars. The user therefore always obtains summarized information on the current vibration condition of his or her application.

Active Vibration Isolation systems -Sandwich Series

MOD-SW systems featuring compact dimensions and excellent isolation performance set the standards on the isolation platform market for mid-range to heavy-duty applications. The standard platform is exceptionally compact (1000 mm x 800 mm) and only 130 mm high, yet it can carry up to 1,500 kg, depending on the particular version. For smaller applications, We can offers a standard version with dimensions of 800 x 800 mm. MOD-SW platforms are the ideal solution for vibration isolation of scanning electron microscopes.

Active Vibration Isolation systems- Table Tops

Very stiff table tops of minimal weight are required to achieve the best possible performance of the MOD systems. Our stainless steel table tops are standardised breadboards produced by a renowned manufacturer of optical tables. These standard breadboards all come with a M6/25 mm grid. We offer various sizes; please check our data sheet for detailed information. In addition to stainless steel breadboards, we also supply customised table tops built completely according to customer specifications. The size and shape are only limited by the production facilities. The number and location of threads can be specified by the customer.
